Agartala, 22nd March: Congress won’t be able to win half the seats it got last time and BJP pursuing the same ruinous economic policies and trying to divide the masses on communal line is no alternative, said CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and Tripura Chief minister Com. Manik Sarkar on 22, March, 2014 addressing two mass meetings at Hezamara (Simna Assembly seat) and BT college ground (Agartala Assembly seat).
A secular non Congress government based on alternative pro people policies is needed to save the country. For this alternative to emerge an increased strength of the Left and CPI(M) is a prerequisite, he said. Com. Sarkar also urged the masses to ensure victory of both the Left candidates to for the formation of such an alternative and for strengthening the struggle of the state’s demands of development.
