The Trinamool Congress is ready to go with either the BJP or the Congress after the elections, said Left Front Chairman and State Secretary of the CPI (M) Biman Basu. The public mudslinging between Modi and Mamata is all a spectacle designed to hide the truth of their alliance, he said at two public meetings at Nabadweep in Nadia district on 5th May in favor of Left Front Candidate Archana Biswas from Ranaghat constituency. He firmly criticized Modi for his comment on refugees from Bangladesh, yet another example of the dangerous communal politics followed by the BJP. He also cautioned the people that the Congress has always compromised with communalism instead of resisting it. None other than the TMC brought BJP to West Bengal.
Calling the right wing, enemies of the common people he recounted the blatant loot of public money through scams during the UPA II and the NDA Governments. The people of West Bengal are having similar kind of experience under the TMC regime. The uncontrolled price rise has adversely affected people's lives. Biman Basu appealed to the people of Nabadweep to resist this multi dimensional attack on the lives of common people. He emphasized the necessity of an alternative pro-people policy at center so that these plights of the common people are addressed. Only the Left members of the Parliament voiced people's issues consistently. Only more Left Front candidates in the Parliament can guarantee struggle against anti-people policies. He also led a three and half kilometer road show from Chakdah Choumatha to the Station in support of Archana Biswas.
