TMC goons hurled bombs at Malapara in Bara Bazar area of North Kolkata PC to terrorize voters of the locality. TMC activists are trying to cast false votes in many booths of Salt Lake DJ Block under Dum Dum PC and preventing of valid voters.
CPI(M) polling agents were out by TMC workers from Booth No 168 at Kumar Ashutosh Institution, under Dum Dum PC. Similar incidents occurred in different booths of Bangur area under the same PC. CPI(M) camp office was ransacked leaving three party workers injured.
Polling agents of CPI(M) were attacked in about 70 booths in Bhangar AC, under Jadavpur PC by TMC goons. Voters were threatened saying their voter ID cards will be taken away, the moment Sujan Chakraborty, the CPIM candidate leaves the area.
5 persons, who were severely injured during the earlier shooting incident on voters at Haroa still cannot be rescued and are still missing. Special Observer of Election Commission has asked for reports from the District Magistrates of North 24-Parganas about the incidents in both Haroa and Bhangar.

Two Polling agents of CPI(M) have been severely attacked at Cossipore booths by the TMC goons - one person is critical. Local CPI(M) leaders of Ghantal PC and Barrackpore were attacked as well.
Polling Agents from most of the Polling booths in Sinthi More area, under North Kolkata PC have been driven out from the booths. Six CPI(M) activists in Pingla of Paschim Medinipur under Ghantal PC seriously injured too.
BSF Jawan on duty at Kalindi of Ramnagar PS under Kanthi PC, in East Medinipur District was seriously injured by TMC goons when jawans tried to prevent TMC workers from booth capturing. But no administrative action has been taken.
A News Chanel reported that there is false signature of Sambhu Gosh, a CPI(M) Agent on the record book of Presiding Officer of Booth no 201 at Krishnanagar Dafarponta Primary School, under Krishnanagar PC. Around 3.00pm today, the record book showed that the agent departed at 6 pm! But Mr. Ghosh said that he did not report at all due to repeated threats from TMC. This shows how false statements are being made by the Presiding officers - deliberately or under pressure!
