The sub-jatha from Gujarat was flagged off in Bhavnagar by veteran leader of the CPI (M) Subodh Mehta. The jatha is being led by Arun Mehta. Nalini Jadeja and Ashok Sompura are the other members of the jatha. The leaders addressed various public meetings in Bhavnagar and criticised the economic policies of both the BJP and Congress governments at the state and centre. The jatha will Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Santrampur before proceeding to Indore to join the Western Jatha
