South & West Jathas to Merge

The Sangharsh Sandesh jathas taken out by the CPI (M) from the south and west will merge tomorrow in Bhopal.

The Southern jatha was flagged off on the 24th February from Kanyakumari and had travelled through, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and is now in Madhya Pradesh.

The Western jatha flagged off on 8th March started from Mumbai and is in Madhya Pradesh. The sub-jatha from Gujarat has merged with the Western jatha in Indore today.

A huge public meeting is planned at the Neelam Park, Bhopal tomorrow at 3.00 P,M, where the leaders of the two jathas – S. Ramachandran Pillai and Sitaram Yechury, will address the public along with the other leaders of the jatha.

The jathas will proceed to Delhi from Bhopal, where there will be a huge public meeting held on the 19th March at Ramlila Grounds.
