Inaugurating a seminar on "Neoliberalism: Corruption and Centralisation, the struggle for a Left Alternative" organised in connection with the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Chinta weekly in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, July 18, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat said that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should resign to facilitate an impartial investigation into the multi-crore solar scam. He said that it was necessary to go into the whole affair to arrive at the root of the scam and to fix accountability and this was not possible as long as Mr. Chandy was leading the state government.
